Brian J.A. Boyd, Ph.D.
Brian J. A. Boyd, Ph.D., is the U.S. Faith Liaison for The Future of Life Institute. Brian’s work supports American religious communities in their pursuit of flourishing futures amidst the challenges and opportunities raised by AI. Brian is also a member of and lead author for the AEI Council on AI Ethics, an affiliated scholar of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at USC, a consultant for The New Atlantis, and a founding board member of Church Life Africa. He holds degrees in philosophy and theology from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Oxford.
Audrea Decker
Audrea is a speaker, writer and servant leader championing the Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation was built. Her passion and organizational skills have allowed her to work directly for some of the nation’s leading influencers. In addition to her work with David and Tim Barton as Executive Director for the Pro-Family Legislative Network at WallBuilders, she has led Special Projects for Glenn Beck at Mercury Radio Arts, worked with Dinesh D’Souza, assisted Dr. Jim Garlow’s in his book, Well-Versed, and has been a frequent television and radio commentator including on Fox News Laura Ingram’s Show. She worked alongside Congresswoman Michelle Bachman and Dr. Garlow to establish the Well-Versed Ministry at the United Nations in New York and worked as the Communication and Strategic Initiatives Director for My Faith Votes, of which Mike Huckabee serves as the Honorary National Chairman. As a teenager Audrea founded the non-profit organization, im2moro which has gone on to reach students on more than 250 Christian university campuses, informing them about the importance of voting. Today, Audrea enjoys assisting legislators and connecting them with policy experts, attorneys, and legislators from other states to advance pro-family policy. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University and is a fellow of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. Audrea resides in Texas with her husband Jonathan Decker and their two daughters.

Joshua Hughes
Joshua Hughes is an Assistant Pastor, nonprofit leader, and community outreach professional working at the intersection of faith, education, and public engagement. His teaching combines biblical wisdom, cultural analysis, and practical application to explore questions of human dignity, truth, and stewardship. Whether speaking in churches, classrooms, or community settings, he challenges audiences to think critically about the forces shaping modern life while remaining grounded in principles that foster personal and collective flourishing.
A native New Orleanian, Joshua is fluent in Spanish and brings a multicultural perspective to his work in his home city and beyond. Through public speaking, education, and ministry, he seeks to equip people to navigate complex cultural realities while remaining anchored in faith, truth, and service to others.
Randan Steinhauser
Randan serves as an Advisor to The Alliance for Secure AI where she oversees the Faith Leaders for Secure AI coalition. In addition to her role with The Alliance, Randan is a Catholic homeschooling mother of five and serves as a Catechist at Emmaus Catholic Parish in Lakeway, Texas. In 2013 she founded Steinhauser Strategies, a full-service public relations company. Randan has worked on more than 80 issue advocacy and grassroots campaigns across 30+ states. She holds an M.A. in Communications from Johns Hopkins and is originally from South Carolina, where she earned her undergraduate degree from The University of South Carolina.
Virtual Launch Event
On June 23, 2026, more than 60 faith leaders from across the country joined together to learn more about the newly-launched Coalition and to hear directly from allies in the AI safety community on how they can be supported at the local level and in the media. The Faith Leaders for Secure AI launch included guest speakers from allied organizations with a focus on protecting humanity.
