Generative AI has been trained on the work of millions of creative professionals, usually without consent or proper compensation, and it can now copy the likeness and style of works that took artists their entire careers to develop. The people whose creative work makes this technology possible deserve a seat at the table to inform the future of this technology and how its governed.

​Creatives for Secure AI is a new coalition of creative professionals and independent creators of every kind, including but not limited to actors, authors, graphic designers, filmmakers, below the line crew, and animators.

​In our first virtual convening, we’ll discuss the goals of this coalition, ways to get involved in the coalition and why preserving the human touch in the creative process is vital.
