Gavin Gillas is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Copymight Coalition. An intellectual property strategist, technologist, and venture executive, he has extensive experience in AI data provenance, rights enforcement, and copyright systems. He leads Copymight’s initiatives defending digital publishers and creators in the generative AI ecosystem, developing model evaluation frameworks and infringement-detection tools. Gillas is a former Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Texas and member of the Rolling Stone Culture Council. His work focuses on AI model accountability, training data governance, intellectual property defense, and regulatory compliance across emerging technologies.
