WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Alliance for Secure AI today announced eight new hires, doubling the size of its staff. The new team members bring years of diverse experience and expertise to The Alliance’s policy, communications, and external affairs teams. “If the last several weeks of AI developments have shown us anything, it’s that the need to protect humanity from the risks of advanced AI has never been more urgent,” said Brendan Steinhauser, CEO of the Alliance for Secure AI. “I’m thrilled to bring on so many new Alliance team members and double our staff capacity to take on these unique challenges. This group brings the talent and experience we need to meet the moment and ensure that the American people have a voice in how this technology is developed and used.”
